It’s a pleasure to send my warmest greetings as you celebrate ninety years of fantastic service to the people of California and beyond.
I am one of the fortunate millions who have benefited from the opportunities afforded by UCLA Extension. When I came to America, I knew that if I was going to be as successful in life as I wanted to be, I needed to develop my mind just as much as I was developing my body. And UCLA Extension made it possible for me to match my hours in the gym with hours in the books.
Thanks to this fantastic program, I was able to achieve the goals I set for myself in bodybuilding, acting, business and public service, while also earning a great education. I appreciate the flexibility I had through UCLA Extension and recommend it to all who seek to strengthen their own academic prowess.
On behalf of all Californians, please accept my best wishes for a wonderful ninetieth anniversary and every continued success.
